...I need some new ones to poke into these days. Ideas? Self-promotional plugging? Bring it on.As one qualifier for my own taste, I know I have no stomach for lots of kinda Anne Rice-esque purple prose or heavy-duty melodrama. Hmmmm, I'm more interested in your conclusions as to why we men prefer boobie-grabbing as our way of saying "I wann, how 'bout you?"I'm not sure that applies to me, but it's been so long since I've been bonded I really don't remember. At any event, i sympathise with the need to find new topics. It all seems easy when you start, but after a couple years the old wells experience drought. IP: Logged |

LOL!Actually, I think I was unclear. I don't need ideas of what to write about, I was looking for some new journals to read and get addicted to. Suggestions? ------------------ Heather Corinna My epitaph should read: "She worked herself into this ground." -- Kay Bailey Hutchinson

Well, of course, I thnk you should be reading and addicting yourself to my journal. Resistance is futile, you know.Although the format of my journal is soon to change drastically, and much of it is password protected, it is still, in my opinion, a good read...especially for those interested in me me me! Other good reads: Jane Duvall (but you already know that, eh?) [a url=http://seshat.sphinx.org]The Watcher of the Silences[/a] is one I've recently begun keeping up with, and I'm enjoying it. It's the journal of a wonderful lady. ------------------ "None shall resist thee, whom I lovest. Well, I do have a journal at http://blk.diaryland.com but I do have to warn you that I don't really make an effort to make it interesting or readable- its just there for me to write in.IP: Logged |

Well, there's always my journal, if you're desperate. Trust me, it's not engrossing, but it is honest, and it is me. I'm trying to be consistent about updating, and I just redesigned. Feel free to take a peek at my journal if you want to. Just as a side note, I have to agree with Heather, Red. Your site design does rock. Tim IP: Logged |

Don't let Tim fool you. He has quite the engrossing journal, and I for one am glad that he's decided to start updating faithfully. And if he doesn't continue in that manner, I shall go over there and do something to him that he most certainly won't enjoy. Then again, maybe he will... And I have a journal too, but you discovered that for yourself a long time ago. ------------------ Kythryne Aisling "The only unnatural sexual act is that which you cannot perform." -- Alfred Kinsey IP: Logged |

I had a journal, but I got rid of it. I mean who cares about an 18 year old girl that has family, boyfriend, school, and low self-esteem problems. LOL, I mean I doubt anyone would read it, and mine would be stupid compared to everyone elses. I mean I am computer stupid, so mine wouldnt be as pretty as everyone elses.------------------ *~*~12/3/99*~* Bobaroony & Erica Bearica <3 love forever! Oh, I dunno, Glit. Mine (http://www.hanne.net/new/) is awfully plain-Jane, and is mostly about the trials and tribulations of being me (including a fair bit of whining), but people seem to read it anyway... I think it's often more *how* you say what you say, and not what you say that makes people interested in reading what you write.Besides, isn't a journal supposed to be for yourself first, and only sometimes for other people? David Chess's Log is fabulous, though not quite an online journal. It's not quite a weblog, either. But it sure is neat. http://www.davidchess.com/words/log.html I would presume you would know of that web giant, James Lileks and the Daily Bleat? Of course you would. Silly me. IP: Logged |

I don't know that it qualifies as a journal entry, but there are things called daylogs where I've been spending a lot of time lately: http://www.everything2.com It's a group of writers creating their own interactive encyclopedia, only it's not always an encyclopedia as a lot of personal stuff, and some fiction slips in. It's also addictive. IP: Logged |

i have a journal, not sure if it is your taste, but you can find it here. (I have kept one since 1994) it is a creative writing one, at times stream of consciousness, with fact and fiction, etc. cheers :=) http://vampy.net (diary) IP: Logged |
